Are there any stores in Sweden which sell Flanelette bedding....duvet covers, sheets etc...
Went to Ikea thinking that they would have them....but no!

With most Swedish homes sitting at around 22 - 23 deg C indoor temperature year round, there's not a lot of demand. Most nights I find myself sleeping on top of the duvet.

Exactly, if one other person doesn't find a use for it.
Then a blanket ban is justified.

Sweden's rainfall is also very small, with a large majority of people living in cities.
Thus Wellington boots cant justify any sort of demand.

When staying with my Swedish friends the first thing I do is turn the radiator off in the bedroom, they seem to have the heating blasting out 24 hours and I find it to much so I'm not surprised that you cannot buy flanelette bedding in Sweden.
If you know someone in the UK maybe they can buy some here and send it, might be a bit expensive though.

You're such a wet blanket sometimes.

I guess you have never been to Gothenburg in the winter then smile.gif

PS. I would recommend the OP to buy them at Amazon or some other UK site with free shipping, because I've never seen flannel duvets here.

I don't know what I was thinking. Naturally if 1 person out of 9 million wants something then it damned well should be here. Typical Sweden, they won't even embrace Guy Fawkes in order to appease one thoroughly miserable mis-placed soul. The heartless bastards.

You heard it here first folks.
Asking for help in locating a product that is hard to find over here is apparently anti Swedish.
And combined with these false stats (1 in 9 million) I am surprised there isn't a call for treason.

I also like the cosy feeling of flanelette in the wintertime and the last time I found flanelette in Sweden was in Jysk bäddlager.Checking their website (www.jysk.se), you can see they still have duvet covers in several choices of patterns. Hope this helps you.

Well , u should know that population has increases ,

See how many refugees entering SWEDEN every month and know that the Births will increase the population

Think also , that the attitude for Swedish people has changed towards giving more biths

And the last threat/war in syria , how many people entered the country and will enter?

So, you can ask your self the 9 million is a statistics of wich year
and add the yearly births ,refugees and new residents to that year ...

Thats it

9,48 million. Not 9 million. I guess that's practically the same as 14 million. That's me told then.
