(edit title) Where to go? Tropical getaway Options

Hey all,

My girlfriend and I have decided that we are going to get away for the most part of December. Hopefully leaving next weekend and returning early January.

We are for the most part seeking a tropical climate, apart from that we are not too sure.

She would like to go to Goa, India, I am not so keen on that idea, I am thinking perhaps, Cuba, Belize, Mexico etc.

We are looking to do this as cheap as possible and I have seen some pretty amazing all inclusive deals to Cuba. Although essentially being quite cocooned we would also be able to visit Havana and see some local culture outside of the resort.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cape Verde seems to be more popular flying from Sweden at the moment.
