(edit title) Problem with housing company Changing apartments Options

Hej,
I was about to move to another apartment of the same company and the day of the moving they informed me that the tenant of the other apartment refuses to leave. They gave me a temporary apartment until the tenant moves out.
The problem is that no one in the company can tell me how much time (more or less) this process will take and they just say that they will inform me... I asked them if the tenant has first hand contract and they said that they don't know :S
Another problem is that the apartment they gave me is in a bad condition and needs renovation.

Has someone else faced the same problem?
Do you have any idea of what should I do?
or how much time it takes to make a tenant move out?
