2nd hand shops

I am considering buying some furnitures in 2nd hand shops.
Do you know if they deliver or I have to deal with this myself, e.g. rent a van?

The second hand furniture shops you refer to are in the main charity shops or people who do house clearance. The norm is for people to take away what they buy but since almost all have vans to collect their stock, delivery is surely something most could do for you. Ask them if they can deliver and for what price and compare that with the cost of hiring a van or a trailer.

In Umea there was a big kommun run one big 2nd hand warehouse on the outside of town. Returbutiken I think it was called. They had furniture there, usually quite reasonably priced if you want some 2nd hand stuff. If there's one near you.
