Fishing invention unique

I'm a judge for fishing, and a competitor in the sport fishing - with fishing lures.
Believe it or not I have a patent for fishing lures, does not exist on the Internet.
Unique design and application.
How to keep a patent to prove that it is unique.
Those previous posts are related to fishing,

There was just recently an article in a newspaper about patents and the EU, whereby it will be a much simpler process than hitherto, and somewhat less expensive. It was, I believe, in the Göteborgs Posten. Can't be more precise than that I'm afraid, but it may be of help.
