I would suggest that you want to make sure that it is a valid Swedish rental agreement and that this might be of use...

is there any precedent in Sweden that people use the English agreement for English speakers?

Sweden is within the EU ... not only can you choose between parties what language, but even which jurisdiction contracts fall under wink.gif ...The tenant must also sign the agreement, it is their own fault if they did not understand the contents, though there is a degree of protection that it cannot contain unreasonable contract clauses. I wouldn't worry about it, English is perfectly acceptable smile.gif
