Just a quickie; My wife had what should have been routine (but invasive) surgery done last October for the removal of hemorrhoids caused during last pregnancy. For anyone who has had this experience it is a routine procedure with a recovery time of 3-5 weeks with a lot of discomfort.
Problem is that she is not recovering or healing as planned and it is not due to any underlying other medical condition. In other words the surgery was badly done (in my and her opinion). She went back to the surgeon last week and he said that she needed to take some medication that would increase her blood pressure and thus enable healing blah blah blah. The drug is making her sick, giving her severe migranes (puking) and seriously affecting her quality of life on top of the stress of still trying to recover from the surgery. My question is, can we demand that she gets to see another surgeon for a 2nd opinion. My feelings are that she needs a follow-up operations to make things right. //J:S: |
