"Kvinnan var på väg hem från jobbet vid tretiden på natten när överfallet skedde". Society is so sick that people cannot go to their jobs anymore. I shall be a Swede basher now. Their law and order is shit. Get arrested and go to prison and it´s like living in a hotel . You even get your oats at the weekend |

Women should ba able to walk home any time day or night. You need to go to avpixlad.info to find the truth of the perpretrators. And that means, you need to keep this kind of people behind closed doors at night, not the women.

Simple answer: Don't rape.
We live in an apparently developed nation, women should be as free as men to go to and from their places of work and pleasure without threat of rape. Add to that, most rapes are committed by persons known to the victim - no amount of sticking to well-lit areas and only going out during the daytime is going to save you from the real problem: the rapist. |

C'mon, this isn't the good old days of the 90's when you could leave your door unlocked, have a peaceful night out, nobody would snatch your purse if it was lying on the road, have a friendly conversation with a drunkard or weird hardrocker on the nightbus etc.
This is the 21st century where refugee/EU immigrants and Schengen has messed up Swedish society. Any woman who is so foolish to go out at night has herself to blame. Sad fact but true. Don't expect any help from police or courts. Use common sense. |

I'm not a woman, but I ensure my kids follow the golden rules in Sweden.
They are: 1. Shit happens after midnight. Come home before then. 2. Be alert in public places. I.e don't get drunk or fall asleep. 3. Avoid troublemakers at all costs. |

well make sentencing tough, that means convicted rapist should get nothing less than 15-20 years, by the time they are out of prison, thé only thing they can hurt is a fly!!! that is the issue!!! crime seems to pay here!!

I know Bromma and Brommaplan pretty well.
It's not an area that I would consider risky for a person to walk around in, even a woman in the middle of the night. There are a lot of TV surveillance cameras in the shopping area around the subway stop. Perhaps one or more of them got an image of the suspect? |

Rape is a serious crime, and needs to be dealt with through the criminal justice system. Keeping a convict in prison until they get older might be a sound strategy after a conviction for rape, though I don't know how much prison time a convicted rapist ends up serving in Sweden. |
