We live in an apparently developed nation, women should be as free as men to go to and from their places of work and pleasure without threat of rape. Rape is a serious crime, and needs to be dealt with through the criminal justice system.

Keeping a convict in prison until they get older might be a sound strategy after a conviction for rape, though I don't know how much prison time a convicted rapist ends up serving in Sweden.
