It's in Swedish, you may need Google translate to read it. I can imagine what people in this forum might say about it... Don't you?

That article is part of a drive by SvD and originally the government to discrimminate Swedes in order to provide more jobs for colonists. Once in place, it will make immigration look better, the numbers will line up neater. There is at least one more article in the same propagandadrive.

You can always dig up some scientist that says roughly what you wish them to say. Besides, scientists in sweden have to raise their own funds for their own salaries, to a large extent. So many scientists will write whatever you want them to write if you pay them. Or more likely, they will niche themselves towards opinions and stances that they suspect will be looked upon with favour by the ruling elite. Meaning, you can safely ignore what swedish "scientists" babble about if they are active in the study of man fields. Their game is not reality, it is to find favour with the people that control the state coffers.

I woudln't go that far ... the study is just a Swedish version of studies that have already been done over the last 5-10 years in many countries around the world (USA, Canada, Spain, Denmark, to name a few). It isn't anything new.

The problem with the detail is that it is a selective dataset, which has a focus on companies that already export, and only have positive export figures. It neglects those that have shrinking export markets or did not export at-all to start with.

Even within the report in a conclusive example they state that an example scenario they give for an average company is based upon the assumption that the export destination is not a low-cost land and the company language is English. and in the footnote explain that the scenario is not generally applicable!!! Why give a theoretical example that is not generally applicable?, because it is an ass-coverer, by which I mean they can say the data supports the conclusion but not everyone will benefit from employing immigrants.

And, as everyone in business knows, for a business a 1% reduction in costs has greater impact on profitability than a 1% increase in sales.

Oh, well, who can tell. But it came together with another article which said the same thing but by interviewing some stooge from the business sector. And it comes at the same time as the government launching their "Nystartszoner" which in reality is to try to move jobs to the "invandrartäta förorter" from everywhere else.

The problem is that Swedes do not understand the concept of expats and globalised professionals - if you read this study most Swedes will think that if they head out to Husby or Rosengård, teach the locals to read and write, then exports will increase. Which of course is simply ridiculous.
