2. The brown bear - Björn - (Ursidae)

The brown bear, Sweden’s biggest and perhaps most ferocious beast, comes in second on this list. While attacks are extremely rare, bears ARE known to attack in Sweden, especially when freshly woken from hibernation or when they feel their young are under threat. As cuddly as they appear, give all bears in Sweden a wide berth. Note: the word bear in Swedish is also a popular man’s name – Björn. People called Björn are not believed to be any more dangerous than people with other Swedish names.
