Changing of the Guards
If you're a fan of the royals or not, you definitely should not miss the Changing of the Guards in front of the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan. Accompanied by a military band, the guards actually march through the city before arriving at the palace. The ceremony there takes around 40 minutes. During the summer, the changing takes places every day (Monday through Saturday, 12.15 pm, Sunday and holidays 1.15 pm).
