The Museum of World Culture is a modern international forum for education, interaction, and expression. It is located next to Sweden's largest amusement park, Liseberg. The museum aims to tackle a broad range of social, scientific and cultural topics, which in recent times have included climate change, Bollywood, war in Cambodia, phosphorescent fossils, and 19th century perception by Western museums of art and culture in developing countries. Visitors are given the chance to hear about issues from a variety of perspectives, and the museum aims to to be an arena for discussion and reflection in which many and different voices will be heard, where the controversial and conflict-filled topics can be addressed, as well as a place where people can feel at home across borders." The museum also offers concerts and performances, guest exhibitions, film viewings, and family activities.
