To lose one minister may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose two looks like carelessness. Now, with the Swedish press baying for the blood of migration minister Tobias Billström, the Reinfeldt cabinet could soon have more space in it than Norrland.

It has to stop. The point has been made, and nothing more will be gained from hounding every minister who has skirted a bit of tax in the past.

This is, after all, a government which came to power on a low tax pledge.

Rules is rules, as they say. But let he who is free from the slightest bit of tax flexibility cast the first call for resignation.
