Expressen reported on Saturday that two boats collided in Vänern at Karlstad Marina early on Saturday morning. Four people were injured.

One of the boats had been drifting sideways because of an engine problem when another boat slammed in to its side at very high speed.

"We suspect alcohol consumption could have been the cause of the accident", said Christer Mathiasson at Karlstad Police.
