The Uddevalla Housing Association scandal has now been linked to Föreningssparbanken, according to Wednesday's Expressen.

The man who used millions of crowns from funds in Uddevalla Housing Association to pay prostitutes was sentenced to prison for five and a half years last June.

It has emerged that Föreningssparbanken may have "lent a helping hand" with the fraudulent business. An investigation is underway.

"There was no way of knowing these deals were not legitimate and we had an authorised signature for all the transactions", claimed a spokesperson from the bank.
