As readers may be aware, a project called "Cow Parade" - wherein artists decorate fiberglass cows and said cows are distributed throughout a city and then auctioned off for charity - has been travelling around the Western world in recent years.
The Stockholm incarnation had been going to plan until the cow in front of Moderna Museet (decorated by Backa Carin Ivarsdotter) was stolen last week.
The 160 kg cow was broken loose from a concrete foundation, and "probably required a vehicle to transport it".
If you have recently seen a fiberglass cow somehow reminiscent of a Robert Rauschenberg sculpture, the Stockholm police would appreciate your call.
