Swedish ISPs bet on broadband television

Within six years up to 500,000 Swedish viewers will be hooked up with broadband television, and the service providers are keen to grab their slice of the cake, reported SvD on Tuesday.
Researchers are convinced that broadband TV will not be channelled via the Internet, but through cable directly linked to the viewer's television set.
"Viewers don't need to have a landline telephone in order to use broadband services", explained SvD.
