Dead baby mystery: DNA offers hope

"The dead baby found outside Bro train station could be a sibling of the infant that was found dead in a subway in Kungsängen two years ago," wrote DN on Monday.
But police are still baffled by the find, and are hoping that DNA samples taken from the infant will offer more clues. They are also checking for any traces from the mother that may be left on the corpse.
The child that was found two years ago had suffocated to death; how the infant in Bro died has not been confirmed yet, but DN reported on Wednesday that the baby may have been dead for at least two weeks.
