Men are joining the fight against domestic violence, according to SVD on Saturday. The local newspaper in Norrbotten has decided to "name and shame" all men who have been found guilty of abusing women in the past.

Meanwhile in Luleå a network is being set up to "warn about the men who pose a threat to women in society", explained SVD. The recent death of a 38-year old mother of three appears to have acted as a catalyst: after the incident a petition of 9,000 names was sent to the government, urging ministers to act and implement new laws.
