The police carried out DNA tests to rule out the speculation that the two children could be siblings. The tests have proved negative and the prosecutors say they never believed this was the case. The only reason for looking in to it was, according to the investigators, simply because the bodies were found in the same area.
The mother is still unknown to the prosecutors and it hasn’t been established exactly how the child died. Tests should clear that up at the start of next week.
