Both guests and security guards have been reported to the police after fighting erupted at Gothenburg's Liseberg funfair last Saturday. There is no exact explanation as to what happened, said Monday's GP, but it seems that some guests had had "too much to drink".

One guest confirmed that he had been at the Tyrolen restaurant near the park and was leaving with his party when the guards told them to leave quietly. He said that there was nothing wrong with their behaviour, but the manager of the funfair security department thought differently. He claimed they were loud "and disturbed the peace" as well as refusing to leave the premises.

Consequently the guards decided to pin one of them down and violence erupted when his friends came to the rescue, said GP.
