A tanning shop in Tomelilla reported that their premises had been vandalised after six of their clients suffered burns from their tanning booths, according to SVD on Wednesday.

One client went for a tanning session and woke up the following morning to discover she couldn't see. She went to her local GP and was told she was suffering from "snow blindness", a painful but not dangerous form of minor burns on the eyes.

"Those who were burnt at the tanning shop have been asked to report it to the police", said the paper.

Meanwhile the owner of the shop claimed that a filter had been "physically removed" and reported it as vandalism.
