Telesales "a nuisance to Stockholm residents"

Most people in Stockholm think they have been "lured in to an agreement" when they receive a "telesales call" on the phone, reported SVD on Thursday. Up to 76 per cent of people in the city would like to see these calls banned. Statistics proves that the older people get, the more annoyed they are about these calls, explained SVD. "Many people don't realise that a verbal agreement counts for as much as a written agreement", explained Claes Löfström, Consumer Advice Consultant in Kista.
