Security van robbed in Solna

Two men secured an unknown amount of money on Thursday when they robbed a security van outside Solna, according to Thursday's Svenska Dagbladet. Police recieved a call just before three o'clock in the afternoon the saying two security guards had been robbed outside an army clearance shop. The security guards were about to leave the shop when the robbers "surprised them", the paper reported.

It appears the robbers threatened the the guards with an axe and a knife and manged to get away with two bags of money. Police say that nobody was hurt. A red car has been found and one of the the two bags was left beside it. The police is currently chasing a silver coloured car that had been parked nearby during the time of the robbery and forensics have been sent to the scene of the crime.
