The old traditional racing track Dannerotravet in Ådalen lost its clubhouse in a fire on Tuesday night, according to DN on Wednesday.

The fire started in the restaurant and quickly spread to other parts of the complex. Rescue services were alerted at around 10pm but by the time they reached the track the entire complex had already burnt to the ground.

They were able to save one of the newer stands and other buildings nearby, explained DN. No people were hurt in the fire and police are investigating the cause of the fire.

The club buildings had originally housed a restaurant, offices and a betting hall.
