Confectionery company Malaco Leaf, which makes the classic Swedish candy "Ahlgren's Cars", has accused a Danish company of copying the product.

"Their cars are too similar to the ones we make, and that is not a coincidence", said Michael Forsmark, CEO at Malaco Leaf.

The company has demanded that Toms-Webes stop marketing and selling their candy cars.

According to Tom-Webes, however, it is not the Malaco Leaf candy cars that have "inspired" their sweets but their own "jelly Ferrari cars", according to DN.
