Swedish firms turn to India

Intentia has begun to recruit personnel again, but this time in India for development work and customer support. The company is also examining what need it has to reduce its work force in Sweden.
Meanwhile ABB’s research centre in India has expanded over the past three years to the point where it is now just as large as the centre in Västerås.
"Where we put our resources in the future will depend very much on the Swedish government," says Charlotte Brogren, head of research at ABB Sverige.
