Skandia's board is to hold crisis talks today, according to Dagens Industri.

Many shareholders in the company and major owners are unhappy about the 2.2 million konor settlement paid to the previous company chairman Lars Ramqvist, believing it to be too great a sum.

The issue has reportedly split Skandia's board with chairman Bernt Magnusson and vice-chairman Björn Björnsson said to be considering resignation if Ramqvist's financial settlement is not approved by share holders at a meeting to be held on April 14.
