Norwegian firm buys Swedish e-government supplier
Norwegian company Software Innovation has taken a major step towards establishing itself in the public Swedish sector with its acquisition of Ida Infront.
Linköping based Ida Infront are best known for producing documentation-systems for the public sector. In addition many of the companies working towards the establishment of the state approved "e-government" project, aimed at making more aspects of state authority available to the public online, use Ida Infront's platform.
Tax forms, A-kassa, CSN, criminal DNA-registers used by the police all use the Ida Infront system.
It is not known how the take-over will affect employs at Ida Infront's Linköping offices.
