JM secures SEK150m Scandic renovation
Construction company JM Entreprenad AB has won a contract to renovate and extend the Scandic Anglais Hotel at Stureplan in the centre of Stockholm.
The contract for the renovation of 219 rooms and the construction of a new floor and 14 new rooms, increasing the hotel's capacity to 233 rooms, is worth a reported 150 million kronor.
As part of the deal, the garage, reception, kitchen, restaurant, bar and conference facilities at the Scandic Anglais will also be renovated.
The project is scheduled to be completed by summer 2006.
