A man was arrested in Karlstad early on Tuesday morning, suspected of murdering a man in his 30s in Örebro.

The corpse of the man was found on Monday night outside Örebro. The suspect has confirmed that he is 38 years of age and was travelling through the area when the murder occured.

Torbjörn Carlsson of Örebro police said that there were grounds for suspecting the man. The suspect has not told the police where he lives, but police believe the suspect and the victim knew each other, according to DN.

There are no clear motives for the murder and no confirmed identification of the dead man, who sources say had cuts and bruises on his body. "We have a first name, but no second name", said a police spokesman, although he added that they expect to be able to identify him soon.
