Siba kidnapper to appeal

One of the kidnappers found guilty last week of kidnapping the electronics retail millionaire Fabian Bengtsson has appealed against his sentence.

The 25 year old Italian was given six years for his role in the abduction of Bengtsson, who was seized on January 17th in Gothenburg on his way to work at Siba, a family-owned nationwide home electronics retail chain of which he is managing director.

But the 25 year old claimed in the trial that he was involved in the kidnap against his will.
