Swedish consumer confidence rises

The Swedish consumer confidence indicator rose to 8.2 in July from 7.9 in June, the National Institute of Economic Research said on Thursday.

Expectations were for the consumer confidence indicator to rise to 8.7, according to a survey of SME Direkt.

Household expectations fell for the Swedish economy, but rose to their highest level in 5 years, for their personal finances.
