Massive improvement for ABB Sweden

The details of electrical engineering giant ABB's 2004 figures were made public on Thursday, and the Swedish arm of the company was a major contributor to an overall 246 million kronor profit for the company.

ABB Sweden alone made profit of 1 billion kronor last year, according to news agency TT.

That compares to a loss of 6.7 billion kronor the year before, a result which was dragged down by the costs of selling the insurance group Sirius and Financial Services.
