Hultsfred thieves steal 25 kilos of dynamite

A significant quantity of dynamite has been stolen from storehouse in the vicinity of Järnforsen in the district of Hultsfred.

Various companies are involved in land redevelopment in the area and use the explosives as part of their work.

The thieves manage to cut their way in to an explosives storehouse, where they found around 25 kilos of dynamite, reported Swedish Radio in Kalmar.

Throughout Saturday police carried out a thorough technical investigation of the crime scene, and said that the theft is being regarded as very serious. A national alert has been put out in connection with the crime.
