Swedish grocery prices cheapest among Nordics
The cost of Swedish groceries is close to the average for Europe and 10-25% lower than in the other Nordic countries, according to a study by the research company AC Nielsen.
The survey also found that prices around Euope are converging and the introduction of the euro is a contributing factor.
The prices of 160 international grocery products in 25,000 stores across 15 European countries were measured in April.
