Internet telephony company Skype is to enter a partnership with the Swedish directory firm Eniro. Among the options is a plan to make it possible to add Skype addresses to Eniro's database of postal addresses and telephone numbers, which is available on the internet.

At the same time, Skype is launching a new service which, according to a press release, will allow users to call both normal telephone numbers and Skype addresses direct from their web browser.

Skype, which was founded by Swede Niklas Zennström, was sold a month ago to the American online auction company Ebay in a multi-billion dollar deal.
