Bomb found at Slovakian embassy

A property in Arsenalgatan, in the Norrmalm area of Stockholm, was cordoned off at lunchtime on Monday when a form of explosive was found in the stairwell. Several companies use the building as well as the Slovakian embassy.

“The object was live and it was dealt with by bomb disposal experts,” said Björn Engström at Stockholm police to TT.

At around 2.30pm the cordon was lifted but police continued to search for a man who ran down the stairs and dropped the object.

According to Björn Engström no threats have been made against the Slovakian embassy or any of the other companies in the building.
