Police confirmed on Monday that the body which was found just south of Veberöd on Sunday belonged to a 57 year old woman from Dalby who disappeared in September.

How the woman died is still unclear. A man from the Dalby area, who has previously been held by police investigating the incident is still under suspicion, said the head of the investigation, Pär Göransson.

"How the crime is classified depends on what the pathologist's examination reveals," he said.

The discovery was made by a man who was out walking his dog.

"The dog was showing an interest in this spot and then the man found the body," said another officer on the investigation, Paul Nilsson.
