The Swedish building company Skanska is to handle the construction of Battery Wharf, a hotel and apartment complex in Boston's harbour area. The contract is worth 142 million dollars, or a billion kronor, and will form part of the fourth quarter accounts for 2005.

Work will begin immediately and the complex will be completed during the fourth quarter of 2007, said Skanska in a press release.

The project consists of 104 luxury apartments and a hotel with 150 rooms, covering a total of 44,000 square metres.
