Life sentence for strangling mother

A 25 year old man was sentenced by Helsingborg district court on Friday to life imprisonment for strangling his 48 year old mother last summer. He was found guilty of murder.

Three girls found the body in bushes near a playground in Billesholm on July 22nd.

Neighbours had heard an argument in the woman's apartment before the murder, which was committed in the early hours of July 20th.

Initially the man had denied killing his mother, but he later confessed.
