Swedish man found dead in Vilnius

A Swedish man was found dead on Saturday in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. The man, who is aged 40 and lived in southern Sweden, had not been seen since he left an apartment in the city on Wednesday evening, reported Expressen.

Three days later his body was found a kilometre from the apartment. The post-mortem will be carried out on Monday.

According to Expressen, Lithuanian police are speculating that the man was either a victim of a street robbery or simply froze to death.
