A man's body has been found in a parking lot in Malmö. Police suspect that he was murdered, several local media are reporting.

The body was discovered in a parking place, in a sitting position leaned up against a car, at lunchtime on Monday. The area around the car park in the Lindängen district of the city has been sealed off; police and forensic scientists are working at the scene.

The alarm was raised through a 112 phone call to the emergency services, Skåne Police have said.

A police spokesman told news agency TT that the man had been identified, and had marks on his body that indicated that he had been murdered.
