A 41 year old man who was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murdering a 16 year old boy on New Year's Day 1995 was released on Thursday.

"The prosecutor's view was that there wasn't enough evidence for a conviction," said police inspector Eiler Augustsson, who spent all of Thursday afternoon interviewing the suspect.

The police still regard the 41 year old as a suspect, and Augustsson told TT that they were not giving up on the case.

"We're pushing on," he said.
