If Proffice loses on all counts in the tribunal, it stands to face a bill of up to 5 million kronor in compensation and unpaid wages, according to newspaper Sundsvalls Tidning.
Three union representatives are demanding 100,000 each in compensation. The dispute arose when Sundsvall harbour ditched its agreement with one truck company in favour of another with BT Svenska AB. BT Svenska used Proffice to recruit new drivers, meaning that eleven of 21 existing drivers were to be replaced.
The other ten drivers were given temporary contracts by Proffice, instead of the usual industry agreement.
