Man dies as X 2000 hits car

A man has died after his car collided with an X 2000 train at an unmanned level crossing outside Hässleholm on Saturday morning.
The accident caused a 45 minute power cut at Hässleholm station and all train traffic in the area was halted. The electricity has now been reconnected, said SJ press officer Dan Olofsson.
The train was on its way from Malmö to Gothenburg.
"The passengers on the train were transferred to buses," said Dan Olofsson.
The driver, who was alone in his car, has not yet been identified. The cause of the accident is still unclear, said a Skåne police spokesman.
