Police were called at 7:55 am.
Witnesses told police they saw the woman fall from a second floor balcony.
“There was screaming and fighting at the scene,” said Towe Hägg, police spokeswoman. “It is a case of a woman who has fallen or been pushed from a second floor balcony.”
The first police patrol found the woman on the ground outside of the building. She had been stabbed, according to Hägg.
The woman was taken to the hospital. Police suspected her male partner was in the apartment, but when they entered at just after 9 a.m., the flat was empty.
“We are continuing to look for him, and will be speaking with the woman more,” Hägg said.
