Police swoop on Swedish biker gang

Some 80 Swedish police pounced on several locations arresting 13 members of motorcycle gang Solidos Thursday as part of a nationwide sweep.

Arrests were made in several towns north of Stockholm on charges including gun crimes, drug crimes, threatening officials, assaults, receiving stolen goods.

Police confiscated several automatic weapons, shotguns, and pistols. Anabolic steroids and four cars were also taken.

Police Chief Maria Palmeus said the raids were successful and that all suspects have been arrested. The gag recently changed names from No Mans Gävleborg to Solidos MC.

“This is something we have planned for a long time,” Palmeus said. “We have fulfilled 100 percent of our goal.”

Of the 13 people taken by police, all are between the ages 17 and 40. Even Solidos’s 28-year-old “president” was arrested.
