Sweden's Prince Carl Philip is following his kid sister across the Atlantic to gain some work experience, it was reported on Monday.

The aspiring photographer is set to begin an internship at National Geographic in Washington DC. According to the royal court, the prince will work with photography and editing this autumn.

"He is continuing with photography. I think he wants to specialize in it," said Ann-Christine Jernberg, spokeswoman at the court, according to Expressen.

This past spring, the prince finished his studies in graphic design at the advertising school Forsbergs. He did his final project in photography focusing on St. Clara's church and its work with homeless.

On Friday, Crown Princess Victoria will begin the Foreign Ministry's diplomat program. Princess Madeleine is still on vacation after her internship last spring at UNICEF's office in New York. She is set to begin an organization and leadership class at Stockholm University this autumn.
