Dinkelspiel new trade minister - reports
Ulf Dinkelspiel is to take over as trade minister after Maria Borelius, according to reports on Swedish Radio. A Moderate Party politician, Dinkelspiel was Europe and foreign trade minister for Carl Bildt's government in the early 1990s.
He was appointed state secretary at the Department of Trade by the previous centre-right government that ruled from 1976 to 1982.
Born in 1939, Dinkelpiel had become an unusually young stockbroker by the age of 21. He has called himself Sweden's first yuppie.
